Station 12

Heaven, our homeland

Lector:
Jesus led the eleven apostles and their companions out towards Bethany. As He blessed them, He was taken up to Heaven. Then they fell down to do him reverence. Afterwards they returned to Jerusalem filled with joy. (Lk 24,50-53)

All:
Risen Jesus, you went away to prepare a place for us. Grant that our eyes be always fixed on where there is eternal joy. There we will remain forever.
